About Myikona
Myikona is a purely Greek company with 30 employees and are owned by Digital Publication Group, the largest group of personalised photographic & printing products in the Balkans. The successful development of the company with 40 years of experience in the field of printing is due to the creation of strong bonds of trust with customers. Executive Summary
Myikona’s vision is to contribute to a better world by giving people the opportunity to share the most beautiful moments of their lives through print. Challenges
Myikona had a high number of abandoned projects due to the difficulty of designing products and the complicated ordering process. They needed to find a software solution that was easy to use and manage with the tools they needed to retain customers. Additionally, Myikona had to find a provider that could help the business scale and evolve with them.

How Taopix helped solve the problem
Myikona decided to change their business model and focus on the customer experience and user journey. Taopix does rigorous user testing and views their product from a 360-degree angle. Taopix implemented an easy editor that made it easy for customers on mobile devices to go from creation to buying very simply. Myikona’s customers could start a product on the easy editor, and switch to the advanced editor for a more design driven user journey. Taopix’s addition of the Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager implementations made it easy for Myikona to track customer behaviours and adapt their products and user journey accordingly.
Furthermore, Taopix added the Text Tags functionality that allowed Myikona to add interactive personalised story books. This initiative opened up an additional revenue stream for Myikona. They teamed up with well-known, local authors to turn their children’s stories into a personalised product for every customer.

Results
Myikona has doubled their revenue from implementation of Taopix in 2018. This was achieved by the new revenue stream created by the personalised story books along with the successful implementation of the analytics features to track customer behaviour and offer a personalised customer experience. By using the analytics information, they were able to gather through these implementations, Myikona were able to market effectively to customers who had not completed projects. This led to increased conversions and higher revenue.
