Customers who attended the Taopix Annual User Conference, held on 16 & 17 May 2017, have been enthusiastic in their praise for the event. Participants included Taopix customers and distributors from as far afield as Asia, Africa, Australia, Japan, South America and North America as well as those from across Europe.
The Conference, which this year was hosted at Taopix UK headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne, also coincided with the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
The Conference organisers’ goal was to inspire, educate and enthuse the attendees and share new ideas and information that could form part of future marketing plans and sales strategies to further grow their photo businesses.
One of the highlights of the Conference was the 10th Anniversary evening event at the historic Alnwick Castle which dates from 1096. Taopix hosted a three course meal with live music at the venue which took place in the Great Hall.
“The customer feedback has been amazing.” says Steffen Haaga, Commercial Director at Taopix “The key goal in bringing together so many customers is for them to share experiences and learn more about our product, new features and how to better market them.”
“It was great to hear that the customers really enjoyed the venue, the content and the consultative approach as well as the guest speaker, Grant Leboff, who gave us all some valuable insights into how to continually improve and refine digital marketing activities. We also had a very interesting presentation from our Australian customer, Andrew Smith, around rewarding and retaining loyal customers which everyone found very helpful.”
Rodney Saldhana from Riot Photobooks in Dubai commented “Great, great, great! Marketing insights with Grant and Andrew was very good for me. Well done!”
Christopher Rice from Colorworld in the UK added “Just wanting to say thank you to everyone at Taopix for this week, learnt a lot and met a lot of interesting customers. Excited to get started with the 3D aspect and calendars.”
Haaga continues “We’re already buzzing with new ideas for next year’s User Conference and glad to report that 93% of those customers surveyed after the event said they plan to return again next year.”
