Keep text when applying layouts
Previously, applying a new layout to a page resulted in any text on that page being lost, even if the new layout contained a text box.
The Desktop and Online editors have now been improved to keep existing text on the page when applying a new layout, shortening user journeys and allowing for continued consistency across a project.
Including the keep text feature leaves fewer clicks before heading to checkout, enhances user enjoyment and creates a seamless editing experience to truly enhance the ‘personalised’ nature of personalised print.
Pass image content into online projects
If you sell products that require image content to be passed from your system into the customer’s project – such as event photography products – you can now configure this workflow easily using the new Picture Import Workflow functionality in Taopix’s Online Basket API.
Bridging the gap between image storage systems and a customer photo project creates better support for the semi-pro and pro markets; think family photographers, holiday photos stored on external destinations and for those who utilise family photo-sharing sites. More succinct support for more users allows for even better growth into developing and vertical markets for Taopix customers.
Deploy Fonts in Taopix Desktop
You can now include custom fonts directly in your Desktop Products. This removes the need to limit your designs to fonts that are commonly installed across operating systems, giving you greater creative freedom and consistency.
If you use both Taopix Online and Desktop, this new feature makes it easier to deploy the same products across both platforms without duplicating products or removing unsupported fonts. Design once and publish confidently, knowing your fonts will display as intended in Desktop.
Introduced support for Kustom Gateway
Taopix adapted to the termination of Klarna gateway and introduced support for the replacement Kustom Gateway. Continuing to support the ‘buy now pay later’ market (BNPL) allows Taopix customers to access the incredibly valuable 300 million+ users, with an estimate of 5-6% of global ecommerce payments2 completed through BNPL schemes.
