Those kind folks at the Entrepreneur's Forum and The North East Times sent a business journalist recently to do an in-depth interview with Taopix CEO James Gray.
The aim of the interview was to get James to share with fellow entrepreneurs in the region and the UK what it's like being an Entrepreneur and how he and our CTO Kevin Gale came to set up the company.
When asked about how Taopix was born, James says;
"I looked around for products that we could sell and wrote a brief specification of what we needed so that it could do what customers were asking me for. It turned out there was nothing available that ticked all the boxes. I also knew the photo space was a booming, fast paced, high margin industry…"
In the article it's self, James answers questions about Taopix the company, how we expanded from the UK into Europe, Asia and the rest of the world. He also answers some hard hitting questions about his ambitions for the company, the growth plan for Taopix and how we continue to invest in our software platform and of course, the people behind it.
Ending the article on a positive note about how the future looks for Taopix, James states;
'We still enjoy it very much and we believe the business has huge potential to go forward both in revenue and people. We’re currently looking at new, larger premises in the North East and we definitely want to grow the team here.'
