Nino-Druck targets personalised print market with Taopix Purchase

German commercial printer, Nino-Druck GmbH, has made its first steps into the personalised photo market with the purchase of Taopix at Drupa.

The 30 year old business, based in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, employs around 120 staff and specialises in offset, digital and large format printing.

Nino-Druck entered the digital print market three years ago with its first HP Indigo purchase. The company now operates 3 HP Indigo presses, one of which is the B2 HP Indigo 10000, and is looking to build upon its current W2P and cross media offerings with Taopix Online.

Says Marcus Kalle, Nino-Druck Managing Director “To stay competitive in the German market, it’s important to keep innovating and providing more services to your customers. Our goal is to be a trusted partner for complex projects that have unique marketing, production and multichannel media challenges. We want to be a full service provider to our customers.”

“We’re keen to develop our personalisation services and target new customers with photo books, calendars, postcards and wrapping paper. We have many ideas around new products and go to market strategies that involve both B2C and B2B models.”

I’ve been interested in the Taopix platform for the last couple of year and have been watching developments closely.
